The December Break 2018

It has been a while since we did an announcement, and even a while longer since we took a break! That is what is happening podcast wise. We are still recording episodes and creating material, but we need some time to rebuild part of the backlog.

 

Right now we have an entire season of a new Exalted game recorded, a short Persona game, and a single season of Mouseguard. Before the holiday rush hits we're going to start recording season 2 of Evicting Epistle as well.

 

If everything works out just right then when January rolls around we could be back to the 3 episode a week rotation we had just like we experimented with this past summer.

The March Slump!

Hello Listeners!

I am sure you have noticed that the episode schedule has been disrupted this last week. We moved! It was a nightmare! 

but that is over now. 

Ian is out of town for the next few weeks. We recorded season 03 episode 04 with him, the episode that will air this sunday, but we also are recording one on one sessions for each player. So starting next week there will be multiple solo sessions being aired. 

Given an entire solo adventure what shenanigans will the Killer Queen get up to? The Majestic? Seawolf? Wanderer. Find out this week!

An Important Message About Podcast Quality

As i'm sure you are aware the podcast's sound quality is sub par. I am aware of this and am learning new things each recording on how to shore up listenability. For instance there was recent digital interference in one of our Exalted episodes because a cellphone was on receiving data next to the mic and as it turns out that kind of thing can interfere with recording. I am also working with a colleague who has actual professional experience with audacity and podcast / band music editing and cleaning up. So once i have a solid handle on how to ungarbage the recordings i will definitely be going back on previous episodes and cleaning up the raws for reupload. We are also looking into getting more specialized hardware.

If you like our show but are getting frustrated with the quality issues, i ask that you please bear with as i am making leaps and bounds with my knowledge of how to fix these issues as they pop up with every episode.
